All On A Mardi Gras Day!

What comes in like an iceball and goes out like a mudball?  The month of March of course! We chase the icicles away and marvel at the changing angle of the light, with lots of music from warmer places where you can march in parades wearing little more than feathers...

This program will air on Sunday March 3rd from 7-10 p.m.

This week's calendar announcements:

Old Songs in Voorheesville, NY presents Joel Mabus on Friday March 8th at 7:30 p.m.
 

There will be a contra dance at the North End studios in Burlington on Friday March 8th with live music by Calluna and with Lausanne Allen calling. Dancing begins at 7:45 p.m. Calluna will also be playing for a dance at Tracy Hall in Norwich on Saturday March 9th with Sandy LaFleur calling.

 
The Miss Guided Angels are playing this week at Mount Hollywood Studios in Mount Holly on Saturday, March 9th at 7 p.m.

 
Michael Jerome Browne will hold a cd release concert at La Vitrola (4602 St. Laurent) in Montreal on Saturday, March 9th.

 
The Upper Valley Music Center in Lebanon, NH presents an afternoon workshop and concert  with Pete Sutherland and David Kaynor on Sunday March 10th.  For information check their website:  www.uvmusic.org

 

Cricket Blue will be performing on Sunday March 10th at the 2nd Congregational Church of Jeffersonville.  Admission is free.
 

The Will Patton Ensemble will be at Burnham Hall in Lincoln on Saturday March 9th at 7:30 p.m.

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, Vermont Public's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that rewards the pinnacle of arts leadership in Vermont and is the recipient of the 2022 Margaret L Kannenstine Award for Arts Advocacy from the Vermont Council of the Arts.
