Art Hounds: Forest Fashion

Susan Smiley of New Haven suggests the exhibit "Fashion & Fantasy" which features whimsical clothing pieces made from foraged and found natural objects. Artist Wendy Copp's own forest fashion as well as clothing from the museum collection, posed with animal heads created by Copp are on display at The Henry Sheldon Museum through November 2nd.

Karen Nevin of Waitsfield recommends theMad River Valley Craft Fair on August 31st and September 1st at Kenyon Field in Waitsfield from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dick Harper of AllArts Council suggests an art fair on Labor Day weekend in St. Luke's Episcopal Church in St. Albans. The event will showcase works by the Bishop Street Artists of Franklin County. The opening reception on Friday, September 6th gives patrons a chance to meet artists.

This weekend atBigTown Galleryin Rochester, Bread and Puppet returns with its 50th anniversary production, "The Total This & That Circus."  This weekend also marks the final evening of BigTown Gallery's 2013 Summer Reading Series with Ann Aspell and Major Jackson.
