Rounding Up Results From Vermont's Town Meeting Day 2019

More than 60 people showed up for Chittenden's informational town meeting Monday night.

Voters held annual Town Meetings across the state yesterday, making decisions on town and school budgets, select board races and a whole host of local issues.

VPR’s Liam Elder-Connors spoke with Mitch Wertlieb about some of these results, including mayoral races, how votes for plastic bag bans faired in several communities, and various other ballot issues. Continuing updates on Town Meeting Day 2019 results are available here.

A graduate of NYU with a Master's Degree in journalism, Mitch has more than 20 years experience in radio news.
