This year's Listener Picnic will be Saturday, July 20 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Shelburne Museum. Our special guest will be Robin Young, host of Here and Now.
There will be live music by Rick and the Ramblers and Joshua Panda and The Hot Damned. The Burger Barn of Jeffersonville will be on hand selling their excellent local beef hamburgers, and The Local Grind will be selling their homemade hot dogs, and Say Cheese! from Rutland will provide inspired grilled cheese sandwiches! Picnic lunches are welcome, too.
Admission to the picnic and the museum that day is free and it goes on rain or shine under the big top located by the Circus Building. Come meet all your favorite VPR hosts and reporters, and stay tuned - more details as they become available!
