Vermont has the second oldest population in the country... and it's getting older fast. By 2030 over a quarter of the population will be over 65. You may dream of a fun retirement community or growing older gracefully in your own home, but those options are out of reach financially for many Vermonters.

We’ll talk to Susan Wehry, Commissioner of the Department of Disabilities, Aging, and Independent Living about the housing options available to elderly Vermonters of all income levels.

Also on the show, a new edited volume aims to draw more attention to Vermont poet Hayden Carruth. We'll talk to Shaun Griffin, editor of From Sorrow's Well: The Poetry of Hayden Carruth.

Tue 10/29/13 Noon & 7PM
