Art Hounds: Two Cellos

Thursdays at 4:55 p.m. & Fridays at 7:55 a.m.   Andrew Potok of Montpelier recommends the all-star line-up of chamber musicians from New York City who will perform--among other pieces--Schubert's two-cello string quintet. This Capital City Concerts' performance is on Saturday, November 2nd at the Unitarian Church of Montpelier.

Music teacher and instrumentalist Jess Gelter suggests the collaborative concert, featuring musicians from The Kurn Hattin Homes for Children and the Windham Orchestra in performance of "Resounding Hills: A Transformative Musical Collaboration."

The concert is at Higbie Auditorium in Westminster this Friday, November 1st.

Artist Barbara Bartlett recommends photographer Carla Kimball's new exhibit, "Ordinary Beauty," now on display at the Zollikofer Gallery at the Hotel Coolidge in White River Junction through November 20th.

There is an artist's reception with Kimball on Friday, November 1st at 5 p.m.

Burlington-based writer and performer Seth Jarvis suggests the Off Stage for the Dramatic Arts' sketch comedy, "Stealing From Work II." Performances take place this weekend at 294 North Winooski Avenue in Burlington.
