The Modern Grass Quintet will be performing a concert at the Whallonsburg Grange Hall, Whallonsburg, NY on Sat. March 8th  at 7:30 p.m.

A benefit concert for the Matsumoto Project, the first boarding school program that supports children evacuees from Fukushima.  The show is at Studio 3, 50 San Remo Drive, in South Burlington on Sat. March 8th at 7:30 p.m.  Doors open at 7:00 .  Featured performers include Mark Abair, Nancy Beaven, Jim McGinniss, Jim Daniels, Tyler Bolles, Bruce McKenzie,  Rocy Mora,  Suzi Harris, Mary McGinniss, and Ellen Powell. Red Hot Juba will be performing for the Burnham Music series at Burnham Hall in Lincoln on Sat. March 8th at 7:30 p.m.

Chanterelle, including Josee’ Vachon, Donna Hebert, and Alan Bradbury, will be giving a rare local concert at the Nelson Town Hall in Nelson, NH on Sun. March 9th at 7:00p.m.

Singers, acoustic instrument players and listeners are invited to a song circle and jam session Wed.  March 5th , at the Godnick Adult Center in Rutland from 7:15 to 9:15 p.m.

The Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center is pleased to present blues band the Nobby Reed Project as part of the Peak VTartists series on Sat. March 8th at 7:30 p.m. in Stowe

Blackbird will be performing at the White River Junction Coop, 209 Maple Street, on Fri. March 7th 4:00 p.m.

Richard Shindell will perform (with Phil Henry opening) at the Paramount Theatre in Rutland on Sat. March 8th at 8:00 p.m.  Richard Shindell will also be performing on Sun. March 9th in Tunbridge as part of Todd Tyson’s Mountain Folk Series at the Tunbridge Town Hall at 7:30 p.m.

On Sat, March 8th the Alan Kelly Gang will be featured at the McCarthy Arts Center at St. Michael’s College at 7:00 p.m. Presented by Young Tradition Vermont and St. Michael's College with the Burlington Irish Heritage Festival.

The Adamant Winter Music Series presents Rusty Romance on Sat. March 8th at the Adamant Community Club. The music will start at 7:00 with an optional potluck at 5:30 before the show.

Chickweed (featuring Linda Waarner) will perform at  Sweet Melissa's in Montpelier on Thurs. March 6th  at 7:00 p.m.

Next Stage Arts Project and Twilight Music present an evening of swing, honky-tonk and fiddle music by The Sweetback Sisters and Elixir on Fri. March 7th  at 7:30 p.m. at Next Stage at 15 Kimball Hill in Putney.

The Too Tall Stringband will perform at the Palmer Street Coffeehouse in Plattsburgh, NY on Fri. March 7th.

The Monkey House in Winooski presents Charlie Messing and Friends on Mon. March 3rd at 7:00 p.m.
The Second Saturday Contradance with Northern Spy and caller David Millstone will be held at Tracy Hall, 300 Main Street in Norwich on Sat. March 8th at 8:00 p.m.

The After Dark Music Series in Middlebury presents Richard and Teddy Thompson on Sun. March 9th .  Doors at 6:00, music at 7:00 p.m.  (please note:  this show is already sold out !!)
