Art Hounds: World Music & Fine Art

Susan Aldrich is a fiber and clay artist from Irasburg and she suggested the world music concert by Choromondo this Saturday, March 15 at the Greensboro United Church of Christ in Greensboro.

Pastel artist Esther Fishman of Londonderry recently viewed NancyCalicchio's show at the West Village Meeting House in West Brattleboro, called Vermontrilogy.

Art lover Karen Kane of East Montpelier recommended Theatre Mosaic Mond's, Fugato Labile for Camille Claudel, written by Vermonter Georgette Garbes Putzel, in its world premiere at the Off Center For Dramatic Arts in Burlington on Friday, March 14 through Sunday, March 16.

Eileen Boland of Wheelock suggested the Catamount Arts main gallery show by seven fine arts faculty members from the St. Johnsbury Academy, up through the end of March.

Bill Reed Voice Studio students will present a cabaret evening at Spotlight Vermont on San Remo Drive in South Burlington this Sunday, March 16th.

This BYOB event features three shows with three separate casts, with 85 singers performing 75 songs backed up by a live band, performing songs from the 1960s, including Motown, pop, rock, folk, surfer, Beatles and protest songs.
