Art Hounds: Images, Miniatures & Art Fairs

Musician Peg Tassey of Montpelier recommended the exhibit of colored drawings by artist Eleanor Kokar Ott, called, Spirit Images. The drawings are up at the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier through July 30 with an opening reception on Wednesday, July 9, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Sarah Hooker of Marshfield suggested Shelley Vermilya's large-scale and up-close photographs of sand now showing at the KSV Flying Cloud Gallery on Battery Street in Burlington.

Therese Linehan of Strafford recommended an event at the Justin Morrill Homestead.  The annual Gallery in the Garden: A Celebration of Light is Friday, July 4 through Sunday, July 20 from 11 a.m. till 5 p.m., with the silent auction of Morrill Minis on Friday, July 4th at 5:30 p.m.

Children's arts education advocate Kathy Dwyer of Lyndonville suggested the 44th Annual Burklyn Arts Council Summer Fair on Saturday, July 5th from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. at Lyndonville's Band Stand Park.
