Art Hounds: Retrospective, Bluegrass & The Snaz

Laura Yanne of Dorset recommended the retrospective exhibit at Manchester'sSouthern Vermont Art Center plein-air painter Brian Sweetland, who passed away unexpectedly last fall. The show is up through October 26th.

Karen Nevin from Vermont Arts Foundation suggested the Vermont Bluegrass Gospel concert at Chandler Center for the Arts in Randolph on Friday, October 10th at 7 p.m.

Brattleboro poet and columnist Diana Whitney recommended a performance by local band The Snaz at Fireworks Restaurant on Sunday, October 4th at 2 p.m.

Musician Peg Tassey suggested the exhibit,Reflections, at Kent Museum in Calais. The closing ceremony is Sunday, October 5th.
