Singer, songwriter, record producer, record company owner, artist and philanthropist Bob Crewe passed away at age 83 on September 11, 2014.
During a career in the music business which spanned six decades, Crewe distinguished himself in a number of areas, notably as writing and producing many of the early hits of rocker Freddy Cannon and later the timeless hits of the Four Seasons.
This week on My Place, host Joel Najman traces Crewe's early career, including his earliest recordings as a teen idol pop vocalist.
Broadcast on Saturday, October 4th at 8 p.m.
