Art Hounds: Oil Paintings, Jazz & Chamber Music

Bob Swartz of St. Johnsbury is a devotee of Catamount Arts, now celebrating its 40th year and he suggested Boston artist Matt Brackett's exhibit up now in the Main Gallery through March 22nd, called Dark Waters/Grateful Daughters. There is a meet-the-artist reception on Friday, February 20th from 5 till 7 p.m.

David Holzapfel from Marlboro suggested the rare musical event from the community non-profit Marlboro Alliance string trio performing Bach's Goldberg Variations on Sunday, February 22nd at 3 p.m. at Ragle Hall at Marlboro College.

Ann Vivian is a Burlington set designer and she suggested The Onion River Jazz Band's concert at Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center called Puttin' On The Ritz on Saturday, February 28th at 7 p.m.
