VPR Cafe: Long Trail Dining

Glen Russell/Burlington Free Press
The Landmark Tavern's signature burger, which is topped with chili, onion rings, bacon and jalapeno peppers.

When you're hiking on the Long Trail, is it cheating to wander off-trail and enjoy a restaurant cooked meal?

Sally Pollak, who writes for the Savorvore Section of the Burlington Free Press, doesn't think so. She joined the VPR Café to talk about the best off-trail dining spots.

Learn more in Sally Pollak's piece, Where to Eat When Hiking in Vermont.

The VPR Café is made possible by Otter Creek Kitchenware in downtown Middlebury, offering over 70 lines of kitchenware.
