Art Hounds: Tango, Architecture, The Snaz & Coquette

Chittenden County artist Maggie Sherman recommended the Alejandro Ziegler Quartet from Buenos Aires performing Argentine tango music on Friday, October 23rd at 7:30 p.m. at Shelburne Town Hall.

Connie Helms from Monkton recommended She Sings To The Stars, a locally-produced film that is part of the Vermont International Film Festival, showing on Saturday, October 24th at 5:30 p.m., at Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center in Burlington.

Kathleen White of Brattleboro suggested the annual Forest of Mystery-The Lost Circus at the Bonnyvale Environmental Education Center on Bonnyvale Road in West Brattleboro, featuring live actors and musicians in an outdoor setting Friday and Saturday, October 23rd and 24th beginning at 6:15 p.m.

Edna King is bursor at Vermont College of Fine Arts and recommended the lecture by French architect Jose Oubrerie at Norwich University's Chaplin Hall Gallery on Friday, October 23rd at 4 p.m.

Nelson Jaquay suggested the wrap-up concert in the Old Firehouse Concert Series with husband-and-wife duo, Dominique Dodge and Robert Ryan performing Irish and Scottish music on Friday, October 23rd at 7:30 p.m.

Marianne O'Beirne suggested the concert featuring two local favorite bands, The Snaz and Coquette, performing at The Headroom Stages in Brattleboro on Saturday, October 24th at 8 p.m.
