VPR Poll: Vermonters' Opinions On Guns, Pot, Education, Energy, More

The VPR Poll; Sara Simon; Emily Alfin Johnson
/
VPR
In The VPR Poll conducted by the Castleton Polling Institute Feb. 3 through 17, 55 percent of Vermonters said they support legalization.

A new poll by VPR and the Castleton Polling Institute provides a snapshot of what Vermonters think about top policy issues, with some surprising results. We take apart the data and examine where Vermont stands on issues like restrictions on gun purchases, what kind of health care system they prefer, and marijuana legalization. We look at these issues, and what the poll tells us about solar and wind energy, as well the future of the health care system.

Have questions about the poll's methodology, or want to dig deeper into the data? Find more information here.

Post your questions and comments below and listen live on Tues., Feb. 23, 2016 at noon, or catch the rebroadcast at 7 p.m.
