Is this what you feel like in the runup to election day? We're talking with psychologists about election stress and what to do about it.

You know that feeling where your body is like a clenched fist and everything is darkness but also on fire? Welcome to the final days of election 2016. We're talking to psychologists about election anxiety, where it comes from, and what you can do about it.

We're joined by two professors from the University of Vermont's psychology department. Sayamwong Hammack is principal investigator of the Hammack Laboratory of Behavioral Neuroscience, and Matthew Price is director of the Center for Research on Emotion, Stress, and Technology.

We'll also be joined by Rachael Keener, staff herbalist and aromatherapist at Lunaroma Aromatic Apothecary in Burlington. And two special guest stars: Craig Deslaurier and Cabot from Therapy Dogs of Vermont.

Recipes: Katie Price Webster of the blog HealthySeasonalRecipes shared two comfort food suggestions for people dealing with election anxiety - a macaroni and cheese recipe and salted caramel bourbon sauce.
