Among co-workers, friends, family - there's been an ongoing conversation lately about what it's like to be a woman in 2016.

A lot of us have been in conversations lately about what it's like to be a woman in this particular political and cultural moment. On the next Vermont Edition, we're moving that conversation into the studio. We've invited a group of women to dive into some pretty big questions — how they're thinking about and noticing sexism, opportunity, personal identity and the messages that are reverberating for women and girls right now.

Our guests for this discussion are:

  • Hayden Cleverly, senior at the University of Vermont
  • Nikki Fuller, director of equity affairs for Burlington schools
  • Rabbi Amy Small of Ohavi Zedek Synagogue in Burlington
  • Diane Snelling, longtime Vermont state senator
  • Jessamyn West, librarian and advocate

Broadcast live on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at noon; rebroadcast at 7 p.m.
