How Vermont's Schools Are Incorporating Personalized Learning
Passed in 2013, Act 77 dictated that Vermont's schools incorporate flexible pathways as a tool for students to learn. Vermont Edition looks at how this self-directed learning plan is being implemented.
We'll hear from Katy Farber, professional development coordinator of UVM’s Tarrant Institute for Innovative Education. She's the co-author of a new book on the subject, Personalized Learning in the Middle Grades.
And we'll talk to Jocelyn Foran, a 7th grade science teacher at Mt. Abraham Middle School in Bristol.
