Livingston Taylor, performing two shows this week at Cafe Lena in Saratoga Springs!

We bid farewell to January with midwinter songs and a hefty calendar...

This program will air on Sunday January 26th from 7-10 p.m.

This week's calendar announcements:

The Insiders , Andrew Albright, Todd Sagar, and John Penoyar will be playing at the Deborah Rawson Memorial Library in Jericho on Sunday February 2nd at 2 p.m.

Paul Asbell will be the featured performer at the Ripton Community Coffeehouse on Saturday February 1st at 7:30 p.m.

Next Stage Arts Project and Twilight Music present New England’s acclaimed roots, rhythm and harmony quartet Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem with special guest Anna Patton on clarinet to perform their “Wintersong” program on Friday, January 31 at 7:30 pm at Next Stage at 15 Kimball Hill in downtown Putney.
 
Orkney (Scotland) born fiddler Louise Bichan and Indiana mandolinist Ethan Setiawan join forces to explore fiddle traditions from Scotland to Appalachia, via Scandinavia and Canada.  They will be performing at the Underhill Town Hall Friday, January 31st at 7 p.m.

The NEK trad band Fifth Business will be appearing at the Peacham Library as part of their Winter Coffee House series on Saturday, February 1.  The community is invited to in an open mic session after their performance.  Admission is by donation and raises funds for the library.

A mid-winter concert featuring two local bands, Phil Henry & The Newsfeed and George’s Back Pocket, will be happening on  Saturday, February 1st at 7 p.m. at the West Rutland Town Hall Auditorium.

On Saturday, February 1st from 6:30-9:00 pm The Specker Family will perform at Phelps Barn Tavern at the Grafton Inn in Grafton.

The Monadnock Folklore Society presents the Peterborough, NH First Saturday Contra Dance on February 1, featuring Hannah Johlas calling with the band Kingfisher.The dancing begins at 8:00 PM. The dance also hosts a free jam session for beginning and intermediate musicians at 6:30 PM and a workshop for new dancers at 7:30 PM. It's all happenong at the historic Peterborough Town House.

The YAMATO Japanese Drummers will be performing at the Lyndon Institute Auditorium in Lyndon Center on Thursday, January 30th at 7 p.m.

Vermont songwriter Jason Baker will be playing at the Double E in Essex on January 29th.

Livingston Taylor will be at the Cafe Lena in Saratoga Springs on Friday and Saturday January 31st and February 1st.

Brandon Music presents Jamie Masefield and Tom Cleary  on Saturday February 1st.
