What concerns do you have about reopening Vermont's economy amid the coronavirus crisis? Are we moving too fast, or too slow? We talk with the task force helping set the pace for Vermont's economic recovery.

Last Tuesday, Gov. Phil Scott and the Agency of Commerce and Community Development announced the creation of theEconomic Mitigation and Recovery Task Force. This hour, we will talk with leadership and team members about what they're doing to help move Vermonters and businesses toward reopening sectors of the economy.

Our guests are:

  • Lindsay Kurrle, secretary of the Agency of Commerce and Community Development
  • Debbie Winters, president of Firetech Sprinkler and member of the RestartVT action team
  • Thom Lauzon, principal at Salvador and Babic accounting and member of the Employer Financial and Technical Support action team
  • Paul Costello, executive director of the Vermont Council on Rural Development and member of the Local Support and Community action team

You can email commerce.covid19@vermont.gov with your specific questions about your business.

Broadcast live on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at noon; rebroadcast at 7 p.m.
