In all, 70% of Vermonters said the coronavirus pandemic was a threat (either major or minor) to their personal finances.

The new VPR-Vermont PBS poll offers a snapshot of Vermont in the midst of a pandemic and economic recession. This hour, we talk about what Vermonters are saying about the toll this is all taking on their mental health and personal finances.

Our guests are:

  • Liz Hamel, vice president and director of public opinion and survey research for the Kaiser Family Foundation
  • Aron Steward, chief of psychology at UVM Health Network's Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital and a clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at UVM's Larner College of Medicine
