Dancing through this month of heat and humidity with music (for starters) from French Canada, the Ivory Coast, Bollywood, and Washington and Windsor Counties right here in Vermont !

This program will air on Sunday July 18th from 7 - 10 p.m.

This week's calendar announcements:

The Terrible Mountain Stringband will be performing at the Country Girl Diner in Chester on
Saturday, July 24th @ 6:30p.m.

Burlington City Arts presents free noon concerts in City Hall Park all summer long. This week will
feature the Blue Dahlias on Wednesday, July 21st and Trio Gusto on Friday, July 23rd.

Summer Sunday Evenings in Ludlow presents the Michele Fay Band on Sunday July 25th at 7p.m.
on the lawn at the Black River High School. Open and free to the public. In case of rain the show will take place in the Community Center right next door to the High School.

The Chester Summer Music Series presents the Dave Keller Band on Thursday July 22nd at 6:30 p.m. on the Academy Lawn directly across from the Green in downtown Chester. Open and free to the public. Rain venue is the American Legion Post #67, Rt. 103 South.

The last Sunday in July means the Jig-in-the-Valley on the green in East Fairfield, and this year the beloved event is back after a year-long COVID hiatus. The day kicks off on the village green in East Fairfield at noon on Sunday, July 25, beginning eight hours of superb music including The Dale and Darcy Band, Christine Malcolm and the Beautiful People, Missisquoi River Band, The Oleo Romeo’s Big-Ass Variety Show, and the Nobby Reed Project. Special guests include Vermont’s legendary sax man Joe Moore, Telecaster master George Lewis, New Orleans’ own trumpeter extraordaire Al Zanzler, and West Virginia treasure Phil Rolleston.
