Time really does fly...1300 shows later we're still rarin' to go !

Feeling very grateful, and celebrating 25 years on the air at VPR with lots and lots of local music!

This program will air on Sunday October 17th from 7 to 10 p.m.

This week's calendar announcements:

The Meeting House on the Green in East Fairfield presents the Will Patton Ensemble on Saturday October 23rd. To guarantee an indoor seat for this show, please call 802 827-6626.

And....here are some of the many friends and coworkers I would like to publicly thank for their help making the show happen during the past 25 years:

VPR past and present Program Directors Kari Anderson, Frannie Bastian, Jody Evans, and Mike Crane,

Longtime assistants and music librarians Nora Ostrander, Gigi Weisman, and Ty Robertson (who will also be celebrating her 25th VPR anniversary this year!),

Engineers and Tech Wizards Victoria St. John, Liz Fullerton, Sam Sanders, Chris Albertine, Peter Engisch, Rich Parker, Tim Johnson and Frank Alwine,

...and, with a gold star next to his name, my old WRUV pal Doug Jaffe, who urged me to audition when he heard that there might be an opening for a Folk DJ on VPR. !
