This week's calendar announcements:

Next Stage Arts Project and Twilight Music present an evening of celtic music by Kalos (Jeremiah McLane, Eric McDonald, Ryan McKasson ) and bagpiper Dan Houghton and harpist Rachel Clemente on Friday, November 5 at 7:30 pm at Next Stage in Putney.

On Sunday November 7th, the Deborah Rawson Memorial Library in Underhill presents local musicians Barry King and Lynne Robbins at 2 p.m.

The Ripton Community Coffeehouse presents Kalos Live and Streamed Concert on Saturday, November 6th at 7:30 pm, Burnham Hall, Lincoln. Doors open at 7:00 pm. A trio of master musicians, Kalos consists of Ryan McKasson (fiddle), Eric McDonald (guitar/vocals), and Jeremiah McLane (accordion)

The final concert by Bob Stannard and Those Dangerous Bluesmen will take place on Friday, November 6th at 7:30pm at the Vergennes Opera House.

The Plainfield Opera House Grand Re-opening Celebration, featuring a performance by the Nisht Gefehrlach Klezmer Band, will be happening on Sunday November 7th at 3 p.m.

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, VPR's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that "aims to reward the pinnacle of arts leadership in a state blessed with creative energy disproportionate to its population." He is also the recipient of the 2022 Magaret Kannestine Arts Advocacy Award from the Vermont Arts Council, and is a 2023 inductee to the International Folk Alliance's FolkDJ Hall of Fame.
