London-born, Oxford-educated touring artist Rupert Wates brings his thoroughly American acoustic folk steeped in deep wells of cabaret and jazz to Stage 33 Live in Bellows Falls, VT, on Sunday, December 12th at 7:00 p.m. Local favorite Josh Maiocco opens.
The Nova Scotia band Còig, winners of the 2020 Canadian Folk Music Awards, will perform a holiday concert on Saturday December 11th at the Barre Opera House.
Spruce Peak Arts presents the Squirrel Nut Zippers Holiday Caravan on Wednesday December 8th at 7pm
There will be an evening of Celtic harp and cello with Rachel Clemente and McKinley James on Thursday December 9th. The duo met in Brattleboro, Vermont and performed for the Ministry of Folk last spring. They performed for the Brattleboro Dance School in August and will be presenting at the renowned Boston Celtic Music Festival in 2022. Tickets for this virtual event will be on a sliding scale.
