Students look out the window as they wait to get off the school bus at Milton Elementary School on the first day of in-person learning in September 2020. Today, we check in with students and teachers and put your questions to Secretary of Education Dan French.

Live call-in discussion: Thousands of students across Vermont are now back in school. Meanwhile, COVID-19 case numbers continue to rise due to the spread of the delta variant. The rising case numbers have led to heated debates over whether schools can and should mandate masks or vaccines for students and staff. This hour, we hear directly from students and teachers across the state about going back to school during a pandemic. Plus, Vermont Education Secretary Dan French joins us to answer your questions about the 2021-22 school year.

Broadcast live on Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 at noon.
