Live call-in discussion: Vermont’s reported a record number of COVID-19 patients in intensive care this week. And the state recently set a record for new infections. This hour, Health Commissioner Dr. Mark Levine joins us to answer your questions about the pandemic. We’ll ask him about the reasons behind the new records, town mask mandates, the booster shot rollout, and we take your calls.

But first, we take a deep dive a with VPR reporter into one of the most basic but important questions about COVID-19 in Vermont -- why are the state’s new case numbers so high, when Vermont has such a high vaccination rate?
