VPR's Live From The Fort is hitting the road to present a live showcase of local bands during Waking Windows on May 7 at oak45 in Winooski.

VPR is taking Live From The Fort on the road! We’ll be at The Skinny Pancake in Burlington on Thursday, April 28 to record three Vermont bands for our series.

Admission is free and shows start at 7 p.m. The line-up includes:

You’re invited to the Monkey House in Winooski on April 19th for a podcast listening party. We’ll listen to a collection of stories exploring medical curiosities, including an episode of Radiolab about Henrietta Lacks and other podcasts.

VPR and the Vermont Humanities Council's First Wednesdays lecture series presents The Takeaway Host John Hockenberry: “Climate of Doubt”, Wednesday, November 4 at 7 p.m. at Saint Michael's College.

In 2008, the presidential candidates agreed that climate change demanded urgent attention. But that national call to action has virtually disappeared. In his talk, Hockenberry describes what altered the climate change debate.

Join VPR Statehouse Reporters Bob Kinzel and Pete Hirschfeld for a deep dive into the politics and issues of 2016, Thursday, November 5 in Montpelier.

Join us Monday, August 31 at the Champlain Valley Fair. We'll be there all day under the VPR tent next to the Maple Sugar House.

We'll have giveaways and the Vermont Edition team will be there collecting your stories for an upcoming special program. Plus, members of the Heliand Consort will give a free concert at 3:30 p.m. under the gazebo.
