Artists Ready To Hop In Burlington
This Friday, September 6th, marks the opening of the Burlington South End Art Hop, now in its 21st year.
Visitors can attend open studios along the city’s Pine Street corridor, where a number of local businesses have been retrofitted as galleries and exhibition sites for more than 500 participating artists.
The event is presented by The South End Arts and Business Association.
Association executive director Adam Brooks says the event attracts over 30,000 people to the Queen City.
Brooks says the South End has grown into a year-round mecca for artists, sculptors and musicians.
VPR's Neal Charnoff talks with Brooks about this year's events.
