The answers to all of these queries can now be found in one place, a new interactive online mapof Vermont forest and wood products. The map is an online forest and wood products directory compiled by the state's Working Lands Enterprise Initiative. Consumers can use the map to locate all manner of forest and wood related enterprises, including:

The directory was unveiled in February, along with aForest Sector Systems Analysis report, at a Southern Vermont Forest Meetup. The report emphasized a need to initiate industry-wide networking and increase consumer demand for Vermont-made wood products.
