Revisiting 9/11 Through The Eyes Of A Vermont Pilot Who Responded To The Attacks

Lt. Colonel Barent Rogers was one of the first pilots to enter air space over Ground Zero in New York City. VPR spoke with Lt. Colonel Rogers in 2011.

It's been fifteen years since the terrorist attacks on September 11 destroyed the World Trade Center in New York City. 

Lt. Colonel Barent Rogers, a pilot with the Vermont Air National Guard was sent out to fly a mission in those chaotic, tense hours after the attacks. He spoke with VPR in 2011 about his experience.
