Lebanon Reconsiders Ordinance Banning Overnight Camping
Months after postponing the passage of an ordinance that some say criminalizes homeless, the city of Lebanon, New Hampshire is bringing the ordinance back up for consideration.
After enormous public outcry, the Lebanon City Council chose to hold off on enacting an ordinance that would have banned overnight camping on city property. They organized a task force to look at issues related to homelessness and revised the ordinance.
